I have found it hard to write about Steven or even talk much about him sense he went to be with the Lord because to me, he still lives. I know that he is gone from this earth but I also know that he lives in a much better world.
It seems like only a few weeks ago that he was standing by our bed at his house looking for my eye to open so he could jump in the bed and start beating up grandpa. I always looked foreword to that. Steven loved to play and filled a room with love when he walked in. There was always competition where ever we went as to who would hold him or take care of him, because he was loved by everyone that knew him. He was strong and healthy and sometimes a little head strong. He was one to stare you down if he didn't agree with what was going on. He just had a look in his eye that let you know that he had both heals dug in and wasn't about to give an inch. The problem with that was that he was so cute that it was hard to get serious with him when he started his stare down. Steven was also one to share. He would give you his last piece of candy and never give it a thought. It was just part of his loving nature.
We only had Steven for such a short time, but we were so very blessed to have had him at all. No words could ever express how much I love Steven or how much I miss him. I still cry when I am alone and thinking of him. Steven is and will always be a part of my life.
