Australia Post has began impounding air shipments of lithium batteries.
They consider ALL lithium batteries whether in a device or not to be a

NOTE regarding CPF pricing:
We have been going out of our way to adjust pricing on orders that are
placed on incorrect pages to qualify for CPF discounts. If you do not
order products from THIS page which have a CPF discount, we will no longer
make courtesy adjustments. We have been ripped for adjusting prices
DOWN when stuff is ordered on other pages that is also on this page at a
discount. (amazing huh?) Example: If you order CR123A on
the CR123A page for $1.75, you will be charged $1.75 for them when you could
have ordered them here for $1.30 each. It is not the job of clerical
staff to try and figure out who is and is not qualified for CPF discounts
when product is ordered at regular prices on regular site pages.
Please do us both a favor and order CPF items on this page.
Shipping charges: UPS is now being used for
most heavier and larger domestic orders. Charges will be kept as low as
possible. Figure about $7 as most orders have fallen in this price range. The
weights have varied so widely that we had to adjust this. Shipping to
Alaska and Hawaii is USPS. Most light weight
orders will ship by Priority Mail.
Foreign order policy:
Foreign
credit card restrictions allow us to ship to Canada,
Australia/NZ, Japan, Germany and UK only.
I was afraid this was going to happen. I am sorry. Too many
foreign hits. If you don't mind paying by Paypal,
email me as we might
still be able to ship to your location.
Small, light weight and low value orders:
Such as CR123A, small flashlights, etc will ship Global Priority where
acceptable. Billing and shipping must match. Post office says these cannot be insured, so this is where
the risk has been the highest and we have been cooked good.
Larger or high value orders: HDS/Novatac lights or other
heavier higher dollar orders will be shipped by Insured Parcel Post OR UPS.
We will try to make the best choice if no preference is given to keep
shipping/insurance costs to a minimum. Parcel post will probably be
the most used due to lower cost than UPS but still insurable. Heavy
orders in this classification to Canada can also go UPS pretty cheap now
too.
NOTE: It is also difficult to insure a
$260 flashlight if we are asked to declare it a $50 flashlight on the
customs form, so don't bother asking. That just puts us back in the
same position we were in earlier not being able to cover our butts if it
gets lost.
CR123A Date Codes and how to read them
In short, the first character is the
month, second character is the year, and the third character is the day.
The fourth you can ignore as it is just the tag for location and will never
change. So it goes month, day, year, and location (USA). Note these
are date of manufacturer and not an expiration date. Add ten years to
figure that.
